Midnight Terrain

Built on a 1,400-metre cliff face, the view from The Horn is hard to beat. It's about 35km drive and takes nearly an hour to ascend the Mount Buffalo, and takes much longer on the way down, especially after nights like these.
It got to -5 on my first night here, which is what I think caused my timelapse gear to malfunction. Though it wasn't enough to stop the 6D from running through the night while I sat in the comfort of my car.
Every hour or so I would be warm enough to come out and take a few photos and light up the area with my remote flash to get a shot like this (with a little bit of help from the moon). I think I ended up getting maybe 3 hours sleep max sleeping up here unsurprisingly and made the wise decision to book a proper room for my next night in the Alpines.
